Three Northern Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops

New York State Police troopers arrested nearly a dozen alleged impaired drivers in the Hudson Valley over the weekend.

Local residents charged include: 

Westchester County

  • On Friday, June 28, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Walter Lara, 25, of Peekskill, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Friday, June 28, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Paul E. Quizhpi Sacasari, 34, of Peekskill, for DWI. He was traveling on Hudson Avenue in Peekskill, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, June 29, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Edwin P. Parra, 31, of Yorktown, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in Croton on Hudson, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Dutchess County

  • On Saturday, June 29, State Police from Stormville arrested Angela Suozzo, 29, of Fishkill, for Aggravated DWI. She was traveling on State Route 52 in Fishkill, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, June 30, State Police from East Fishkill arrested Allison S. Imondo, 43, of Pawling, for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 22 in Southeast, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
  • On Sunday, June 30, State Police from Wappinger arrested Dayl J. Wise, 43, of Wappinger, for DWI. He was the subject of a welfare check for a man reported sleeping in the driver’s seat of his running vehicle in the Chelsea Cay parking lot in Wappinger. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

Fairfield County

  • On Friday, June 28, State Police from Lewisboro arrested Ilia Demiraj, 67, of Stratford, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 35 in Lewisboro, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
